The Italian Society of Cancer (SIC) is the first association of researchers in experimental and clinical oncology established in Italy. SIC was founded in 1952 to promote research in the experimental and clinical fields, facilitate the scientific collaboration and sinergy among Italian and international researchers, endorse teaching, education and professional growth of yound researchers.
